My First Washington Quarter Variety out of the New Cherrypickers Guide.

After taking the past year off I got pulled back in after buying the new guide. I did not have any of the new picks stashed away like some fellow collectors who got lucky with the new picks. When I first saw the 1947 and the 1948 S Spitting Eagle I was amazed in my 14 years that I have not run across either of those coins.
Last week while flipping thru Stacks auction there it was, The 1947 and when you see the picture it is Super Easy to Spot. MS 66 and there was at least 1 other bidder who knew what it was. So in another year or two will see how many of these pop up. The search Continues....
