If you’re the GM of a baseball team……..

Do you keep this 22 year old #1 pick in the draft at Triple A, or do you bring him up ?
He’s just about averaging 2 K’s per inning and completely dominating.

Well if my rotation and staff are dominating, and we are fighting for the division lead or playoffs then maybe not.

If I'm not I'm giving the kid some work

Fullerton is outside of Los Angeles. So growing up, he was probably playing baseball almost year round. He will be 22 years old shortly. So he's likely well seasoned already.

I'd bring him up. If he starts stinking up the joint, then send him down until maybe September, or next year.

He should have started the year in MLB, unfortunately he had the bad luck of being drafted by the cheap Pirates who are more worried about service time than the best product and even told him no matter what he does in spring training he wont make the team.

Its so ridiculous that hes in the minors at this point that even his GF Livvy Dunne is starting to say stuff to get public pressure on the Pirates to grow

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007

I think he should be in the majors now but I would have started him at AAA if I was making the call for the Pirates. After his last start (before the one this week) I would have called him up.

Service time has been moot for a couple weeks. There’s still a good chance he can’t finish the season but now’s the time.

    Use the old Joba rules.

#LetsGoSwitzerlandThe Man Who Does Not Read Has No Advantage Over the Man Who Cannot Read. The biggest obstacle to progress is a habit of “buying what we want and begging for what we need.”You get the Freedom you fight for and get the Oppression you deserve.
