1951 Penny Date Issue (?)

Hello all,

Newbie here to the community. Have always saved my coins, but recently started looking into the coins I’d like to add as collection.

Came across this penny and can’t figure out what’s going on with the date. Looks a bit off to me and would like the community’s opinion on this.

I took several photos to try to get the best angle and view. Also, did color filters in hopes that it could help with the viewing.

Let me know your thoughts & thank you in advance 😊

You're asking the wrong question. See that ripply texture across the entire coin? That shouldn't be there. Any comments about the date are secondary.

    (Look up "whizzed")

Almost looks worse than a whizzed coin, like some really harsh chemical left behind a moonscape. Perhaps someone trying to clean and then color to make it look toned but things went horribly wrong as is always the case.

The photos are also juiced so it's hard to say
