He is without a doubt, NOT ON STEROIDS!! I know the trainer for him very well and I heard it straight from him. He works with him everyday! He says that Barry is the hardest worker he knows. He has a physical trainer, strength trainer, and all other kinds of trainers!!

Do you think if Bonds was on roids that his trainer would admit to it for him? Come on, his word means nothing, only a test will be good enough for everyone.

People are quick to conclude Bonds is on roids because of his size and HR total from last year. What they don't understand is that with today's physical trainers and diets/supplements it is very easy to put on 20+ lbs of pure muscle within 6 months. All it takes is dedication and good work ethic.

lol, yeah the trainer is really going to tell you "awaltz" that Bonds is on steroids, come on of course he's not he is going to tell you that he is not using them because it would break your little heart if your hero was taking them

4 Hours? That's nothing. Football players work so much harder. Even High Schoolers our to adays run 6 hours long. Our camps are 2pm - 8pm. 2-3 Lift, 3-4 Talk, 5-8 Work on plays. We only get a single 20 minute rest.

I think that the majority of baseball players are on steriods. Won't think differently until all of them take tests proving they don't. All other sports are expected to test. Baseball should also.

I think everyones attacking you cause its funny how you think that the trainer would tell you if Bonds was on steroids. I mean if he is taking steroids and the trainer knows it you think to you he'd just say "*pssst* guess what, bonds really is on steroids, be sure not to tell anyone." He would never tell you or anyone else if he is or not. Now I don't know if Bonds is or is not on steroids, I have always been a fan of his ever since the early 90's, but if they finally get drug testing and he tests positive he will lose all my respect. Same with all the other buffed up players like Sosa and so on. I dont think I should be making assumptions just cause they got big muscles. If they test positive then their whole reputation and career is over and thats the way it should be, it shouldnt be based off of rumors and just the fact that your team is an opponent of his team hence he must be on steroids. Or because he is on your team he must not be taking steroids.

I can almost guanrantee that Bonds does not work out for 4 hours everyday. At least not during the season. That's rediculous!!

A trainer is not going to tell a little 14 year old kid that a superstar athlete is on steriods...... sure he has a physical trainer, a strenth trainer, and a drug dealer.

I also believe that Sosa, Bonds, and even Griffey are taking steroids. Hell, Bonds has already admitted to taking pills to make him stronger and such. Look at Griffey, this guy STAYS injured...and I don't think it's just some coincedence either. I truly believe they all should start being tested for steroids. I bet you there'd be many players that test positive.

Yeah, like I'm going to tell everyone that MY boss uses illegal substances to gain more bulk. Hell, saying no makes the trainer look good. Remember, the man that cuts that trainers check is Bonds. I think right now Bonds isn't on steriods, BUT I'd be willing to bet he took them in the 00' season(and offseason) and then he came back in 01' a beast. Now he just works out to keep up the mausle mass.

i believe he did originally type "IT"... he also edited it and changed it to "IS"... not that makes any difference and i could care less (lol), but i figured i'd clear that up...

I do believe without a doubt that there are players in the MLB that take steroids, but come-on, the pictures they show of McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds when they were "smaller" are over 10 years old. When I joined the military in 1991, I was 6'2" and no kidding 135 pounds. I currently weight 205, and it was from living in the gym and taking "legal" suplements. I get pi$$ tested routinely, and I have nothing to worry about. I applaud athletes that work hard to get in the shape they are in. I don't mean to stir the pot when I mention the next thing I am about to say, but steroid users get injured quite a bit, and without saying names, look at who in the league suffers injuries routinely commonly seen by steroid users. I play softball, and my production has steadily improved every year with little to no injury, and I attribute it to lifting and aerobic activity.....not to mention technology and double wall bats. A part of me wants the league to adopt steroid testing, but another part of me doesn't care because if these dudes want to juice up to put a better show on for me "the fan", hell with their health later on in life. Just me 2 cents.

Anyways, back to the subject, I think that Barry Bonds DOES take steroids. My reason is already answered in the previous posts. 4 hours a day is WAAAAY too much for a man with a family (does he have a family? Oh, well, I will assume he does) and a man that spends half his day mentally preparing for a game, stretching, batting practice, etc.

Dodge-Big Mac and Sammy had been bulking up for years. It wasn't one offseason when they came back ripped. Look at pics of Bonds from 94 and up. Compare them side by side. Also, what branch of the military were you in(dunno if you still are currently) and what was your experience. I'm thinking about either the Marines or Army. PLMK via pm.

Yanks, I am in the Air Force stationed at Peterson AFB, CO. I used to be a life support technician (pilot survival equipment & ejection systems), but now I am in space command and track satellites. I have really enjoyed the past 11 years, and I highly reccommend joining the military. When it comes to deciding which branch, you really need to figure out what you want to get out of it. At 18, I wasn't Marine material, couldn't see being out to sea for 6 months so Navy was out, and did not want anything to do with the Army. The Air Force had more to offer me at the time, and I am glad I made the choice. PM me if you would like more info. Thanks for asking.

I think its possible to exercise four hours a day.....My mom goes 2(two) hours every day at her local gym.....She gets up earlier and exercises....Im not saying Bonds is not taking steroids...im just saying i think it's possible to exercise four hours a day....

Bonds is suppose to be injured from time to time. He turns 38 years old on Wednesday. He's getting up there in age.
