I have always found PEI cents to be a very interesting one-year type coin. I was sorting some old photos of my collection and thought I would post these. The circulating cent is 100% lustrous red (probably a Heaton Hoard coin) and the toning on the two specimen cents is amazing in hand.

Medal axis, circulating PEI cent in PCGS MS-67 Red. Pop 15/1. Smudges are on the holder, not the coin.

Coinage axis, specimen PEI cent in PCGS SP-65 Brown. Pop 1/2 with five others in RB and three in Red.

Medal axis, specimen PEI cent in SP-63 Brown. Pop 1/1. Only two graded by PCGS.
