Dealers--do you use Coin-Net or other network?

logger7logger7 Posts: 8,522 ✭✭✭✭✭

A local dealer uses Coin-Net claiming it helps customers get top dollar for their material:

"With over 55 years of experience in the world of numismatics, we have been assisting clients privately for over 45 years, sourcing investment grade silver and gold coins, handling appraisals, and obtaining the best prices for selling client's numismatic collections.

To avoid a conflict of interest, we do not buy directly from clients, but instead, we represent our clients, selling collections for the best prices possible. Our earned fees are a percentage of completed sales.

"...a member of the Certified Coin Exchange (CCE), the pre-eminent trading venue for numismatics, precious silver and gold metals and precious stones."

Dealer networks are a viable sales venue.. They are, however, wholesale venues. High wholesale, perhaps, but still wholesale.
