Its pretty much time to just fire all the umpires and start from scratch. Too many of them think theyre the product and unfortunately the Joe West types are the ones training the next wave of umpire.s. Players get cut for being bad, or suspended for doing things but nothing ever happens to the crappy umpires.
I was always against robot umpires but if they arent going to fire these terrible look at me umpires than bring on the robots

Time to promote some AAA umpires for sure.
The MLUA is just good at their job.
I love Wendlestedt's comments after the game:
"This isn’t my first ejection. In the entirety of my career, I have never ejected a player or a manager for something a fan has said.
He said that ‘a fan said it, a fan said it.' I said, 'I don’t care who said it.' ... It’s foolish to throw out a player if you don’t know who did it."
So, by Wendlestedt's own admission, he's a fool, as he threw out Boone for what a fan yelled from the stands; and Wendlestedt thought it came from in the Yankee dugout.
