and it hasn't budged an inch. I keep checking almost daily to see if it has reached "Grading", but it appears to be stuck. CSR was no help, just said that "it's a 40 day turnaround". Yeah, yeah, I know, but jeez, a month in "Received"???...

Any other recent data points out there???

Mine usually reach grading a day or 2 after I give up checking multiple times a day, or so it seems 😉

Like many over the last several years, I got used to my coins going from Received to Grading fairly quickly and then stalling there for 1-2 months.

They must have changed a policy sometime in the last year. My last few submissions stalled in Received for 1-2 months but then went pretty quickly (1-2 weeks) form Grading to QA.

Your patience is exemplary. That is 40 business days, not forty days from being received. It takes time to add value.

That actually makes sense. For those of us who have been around for a couple decades, were used to the old progression where it would go into grading very shortly after being received and then it would sit in Grading for weeks or months before any further progress. It seems that now they don't indicate "Grading" until it is actually being looked at by a grader. It would have been nice to have published such a change instead of making us guess...

Those of us who were around back at the beginning no longer have the time to sit around and wait. ;)

I just had one post friday (regular) that was entered on Feb 29. Actually should be at PO tomorrow am

The express submission I dropped off at invitational took about 3 weeks (which seemed about right based on thier turnaround status.

I got one economy entered on 2/29 also, still in grading, although I dont expect it anytime soon

For reference, my club submission has been in “grading” since 3/15. I think it was in the received stage for less than 1/2 a day.

My regular submission at FUN hit grading about 2-3 weeks after it was received. My economy submission took two months before entering grading, then was in the mail coming back to me one week later. Patience! Things are a lot better than they were two years ago.
