Please forgive the ignorance, but are these, like the BTC “coins” I’ve seen, actually redeemable for Bitcoin? If so, where exactly does one perform such a redemption? I’ve never understood the physical manifestation of something that is inherently non-physical.

The redeemable physical BTC had a code concealed under a hologram. It could only be used once to digitize the asset.
