If you take the pitchers hitting stats out of there, then the position players as a team hit .342 at home.
In 2000 they scored 7.81 runs per game at home
In 2000 they scored 4.13 runs per game on the road
In 2001 they slugged .554 as a team at home and that includes their pitchers hitting.

In 1999 the Rockies pitchers had a 4.84 ERA on the road.
They had a 7.14 ERA at home.
This year not so much
Yeah they are a mess. Kris Bryant is stealing...he should be donating 500 free tickets a game as an apology for his play or for him not playing.
Check out the White Sox this year.
Bryant isnt the reason theyre struggling. Its a bad roster in a very tough environment fora baseball team that hasnt ever figured out what kind of starting pitcher can succeed there.
Its also a brutal division to be playing in
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
A 90 OPS+ for a DH/first baseman/left fielder in Colorado making 28 million a year...that is an anchor of bad for a team.
He is owed 27 million a year for next four years, and for his first two plus years of his deal there he's played less than half the games, and is a below average hitter when he does play. He is stealing.
The rest of the roster stinks too, but he is the poster boy for them especially at his salary. Stealing.
The contract hasnt worked out so far for sure, but to be fair to him hes just been injured a lot. Its not a Chris Davis situation where he just isnt good enough anymore. No idea if he will ever get a full healthy season again. He very well just may not be a good fit for the altitude
It was weird move for them to sign him like that given they basically stripped the team not that long ago.

No it hasn't worked out, no skin off his nose though...he's happily sitting back collecting 28 mlllion a year for sitting out and popping out.
Its not like hes trying to get hurt. There hasnt been anything that would indicate he doesnt want to be playing
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
A 90 OPS+ is a good start of an indication.
Not playing is another.
Stealing.
Per your philosophy he belongs in a softball league too but in the "C" division.
He hasnt been healthy since 2021 which also includes an injury from diving into a wall to make a play.
If he gets healthy again he will be good, the question is can he get healthy
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
He's healthy. 90 OPS+ not good. Collecting a fat check in the process.
The wall was not a collision the other day. It was very minor and not even worthy of knocking anyone out of a game.
