How do you resolve a mis-match of a coin variety on a graded PCGS coin?

    No, not necessarily. If you're speaking of the doubled die reverse varieties for 1964 proof nickels, you'll have to look at all 66 of them to find out.

    What Messydesk is saying is that there are 66 different DDR's for the 1964 proof nickel and yours matches a different variety than the FS-801. Each variety has different characteristics.
