My rainbows for sale in Monday’ Heritage Auction
I bought these Binion toned Morgan’s when they came up for sale by Teletrade. That’s the first time they came up for sale. They have been in a safe for over 20 years. Thank God Ted’s girlfriend and her boyfriend were caught and found guilty of murder, but that decision was overturned. My only coin graded by PCGS is the 1910 Liberty nickel. The others are NGC. I really believe the 1887 Morgan, now in an ms 66* would upgrade today as an ms 67, probably as a star as well. You can see some of the bag’s fibers in the toning on the top left. It’s toned 100% on the obverse, as well as the reverse of the 1883-O Morgan. The toning is brighter in hand than in the photo. The only reason I’m selling these coins is I’m concentrating in another area of coin’s. I still have hundreds of other toned coin’s in my collection/accumulation.I know the new owners will enjoy them as much as I have over the decades that I’ve had them. The 1883-CC and the 1884CC came from the same owner and the 1882-CC JUST came back as a ms-64*, and the 1878-CC is graded as an ms-64 from PCGS and is going back for the upgrade to the ms-65 grade that it deserves. Sorry for the huge photos, but I don’t know ho to make them smaller as I can only use my IPad to photograph an post them. They have better photos and descriptions on the Heritage website. Thank for looking. Feel free to ask any questions.
