Hey all! I finally created an account here. A friend of mine told me that I should post this coin I got graded because people in here might enjoy it.

I actually remember seeing that coin, I thought it was interesting because the three on The date looks doubled or 2/3 or something. Also the gouge in the crown on the date side was memorable. Can’t remember where I saw it though.

Rare date. Are you Guatemala and/or cob (yeah, yeah, I know, "machine struck on cob planchets" LOL) focused??

Do let me know if you remember where you saw this. I posted it to a Guatemalan Facebook group a few months back and they filled me in on how rare this piece was. I'm actually surprised that it came back with a straight vf20 because of that gouge but with a piece as rare as this as long as it doesn't have a hole it's as good as gold.

I have a feeling that now that I've acquired this piece I will definitely be steering myself towards getting more of these. If you start out with the key date you might as well get the rest of the dates lmao.
