1921 Morgan’s NP

These are definitely going in for grading. They have terrific mirrors and almost black and white. I know how hard it is to get a DMPL but that won’t stop me from trying.
Wanted to share some images.

Those look nice! Thinking they're both the same die pair. PL 1921s are tough across the board. GC is currently selling an NGC 63 DMPL. It's a great coin, but it's an older holder and they weren't as strict as today when calling a coin DMPL. Now that I look at it closely, it might also be the same die pair.

Good luck! Remember, the black/white contrast isn't a factor in PL/DMPL, it's just the depth/clarity of the mirrors. Hard to judge from a photo but these looks promising. Good luck and keep us posted! Mine that I sent in and messaged you about is not in Grading status yet.

That one on GC, I'm skeptical if it would qualify for PCGS DMPL. Also with the gash on the chin, MS62 at best by PCGS standards.

John I know you can spot things like die pairs.

Here are a few angles of my PL that may be helpful

Did you take your coin for a drive today?

I was walking out to the airport when Postal service pulled up. Open my CAC box up on the way to and grabbed a photo. Been a couple of weeks.

As a side note, when comparing my 21 to my other PL coins this one seems “different”. The strike was very hard and the details are excellent.

Very nice coin. I have a few PL's I have cracked out to put in my Danso album. One was a gold shield MS64. I know what you mean about the look and the strike. It's almost like the devices are covered in tin foil or something. The two coins above have the strongest mirrors of the group. They also have a great strike and the foil look as well. I'll get them sent off as soon as I get some flips.

I spotted a couple die scratches that seem to match. Look between the wingtip and A in AMERICA, above the eagle's feet, and around the cotton blossoms.

Bad cell images. I don't have steady hands.

I think you are going to like your results from the submission. At least a great chance.
    Best of luck.

@messydesk I can see them. Same thing near BUS.
    Good eye.
Hopefully at least one will DMPL.
They sure look it to me.
I think polishing lines hold a lot of 1921s back from DMPL
Fortunately these coins obviously have some polishing marks but they are not heavy.
Sounds like I’m defending that these are deep mirror.
I’m not really. It’s just that I own many of them and these stand out.
It certainly is good news that they match up with the DMPL at GC!
