$5 Liberty NEWP ~ 1885-S OGH

I got this one today, I already have this type, but this was irresistible at the price and I thought it looks great!
It was sold by Blanchard in 1993, look how much it sold for!
The $10 liberty was only $40 more!

I got it today for $550 technically a little under it’s melt value. I couldn’t pass that up!

I also got the original receipt from 1993 and the Blanchard bag that it’s been in ever since!

Wasn't '93 that epic 'boiler room' year that saw any Saint selling for triple or quadruple melt ?
If it wasn't '93 , it has to be right around there. A crazy time.

The $10 that came with this? It did come in with this, but it sold to another customer.

I considered it, but it looked like it had some kind of weird white putty like residue in and around the devices and I didn’t like it at all, so I passed on it.

This one is completely different. This one has great skin and color.
