Weird Photoshop
It is an actual photo of his elbow, this whole thing got started when Ian Rapoport included the photo in a tweet about Jayden Daniels. A doctor chimed in an said it's a condition called olecranon bursitis, but no cause for alarm. I've never seen anything like it before.
He should change to an anti-inflammatory diet and it might go away.
For sure it would definitely help.
Yep
Not buying that pic whatsoever,
Here's some other photos of his elbow, you can see he clearly has issues with it.
This is from an article written back in November 2023 about the draft, five months ago, and you can see the elbow.
A second doctor also believes that it's olecranon bursitis.
NYU doctor reveals why Jayden Daniels' elbow looks so bizarre after photo of LSU's Heisman Trophy winner went viral ahead of next month's NFL Draft
Jayden Daniels threw for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns for LSU last season.
An NYU doctor explained what is happening with Jayden Daniels' elbow during a picture that went viral earlier this week.
Fans grew concerned when a photo of the Heisman Trophy winner displayed a golf ball-sized lump on his right elbow while throwing the ball for LSU.
On Thursday, the New York Post asked Dr. Laith M. Jazrawi, Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine at NYU Langone Orthopedics, for his opinion on the picture. Dr. Jazrawi said the bizarre lump is not a huge cause for concern.
'He has olecranon bursitis,' Dr. Jazrawi believes. 'Sometimes pain, sometimes no pain,' he said of the symptoms.
'You can get a cortisone injection, or you can surgically remove the bursa.'

Daniels threw for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns with four interceptions for LSU last season
'The downtime for something like that is two to three weeks for a bursa excision, or you can play the whole season with it because it's generally not that painful,' he continued. 'It's surgically corrected. It's not a reconstruction or a ligament repair,'
Daniels threw for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns with just four interceptions for the Tigers on his way to the Heisman last season. LSU finished with a 10-3 record overall and 6-2 in conference play.
The quarterback is expected to be selected in the top three of next month's NFL draft, alongside Drake Maye and projected No. 1 pick Caleb Williams.
The first pick belongs to the Chicago Bears - followed by the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots.
'It's nothing you need to wait on healing time,' Dr. Jazrawi continued. 'It's really, you take it out and you're fine. And it's not even painful to begin with for some people, which likely includes Daniels, because he had it and he wasn't complaining. It sounds like he played pretty well.'
The pictures you posted after definitely look real just not as pronounced as the original, it looks like an arm of an action figure lol
It does look photoshopped, it looks like arm of a transformer!
"What foods should you avoid with bursitis in the elbow?"
Foods that can trigger inflammation may make your pain worse so these are ones to avoid if you can. This includes processed foods (ready meals, sliced meat), caffeine, fizzy juice, sugars (cakes, biscuits etc.), and alcohol.
Some doctors really tick me off. They prescribe unnecessary drugs and/or surgery when in many cases a change of diet is all that's needed.
I'm sure if he signs an NFL contract, that it states in there a certain type of diet that he must adhere to.
No contract is going to have a specific diet included in it and he will sign an NFL contract. There will be some injury clauses and activities like sky diving that are banned which they all have but they wont have you can only eat this type things

"Do football players have strict diets?
What Do NFL Players Eat? | The Poolside Post
Their diets are closely monitored and regulated in order to maintain their optimal playing weight and body fat percentage. The typical NFL player's diet consists of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Jul 26, 2022"
In this case considering the money, etc, the particular NFL team absolutely will tell him what to eat, and he will gladly obey.
Thats just not how it works. Ocho basically lived off fast food, Metcaff eats a ton of candy etc. Different position groups have different diets to get what they need but teams absolutely do not dictate what they can and cannot eat especially since they really dont provide the food anyways and some teams even charge players for their meals. The closest you come to that is in college and even they have a lot of options of how to do it and isnt mandatory

that definitely does not look real. looks more like some kind of a brace, sleeve or protective device. the bicep doesn't even look attached to his arm.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Agreed
His arm in some of the other pictures looks bizarre too though. Very weird to say the least
I agree, I the pics DD posted, his elbow definitely looks swollen. I have had bursitis before, and it is painful. just have to hit it with the ibuprofen and rest it and it will go away.
