Check out this thread related to visiting Dan Carr to make these tokens.
For this piece, dies from the 1946 Oregon Numismatic Society medal were struck over a random date Indian $10. This one was double struck. $1600 delivered.
This mule was created using the dies from 1946 and 1950 (see thread). 2 very different beaver styles struck over a 1849 $10. This results in the gold rush date 1849 on both sides. Asking $2500, about the price of an AU55 Liberty $10 dated 1849, delivered.
