PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The 3-point line for the women’s NCAA Tournament at Moda Center had a discrepancy in distance at each end of the court that went unnoticed through four games over two days before Texas and North Carolina State were informed of the problem ahead of their Elite Eight matchup on Sunday.
While the NCAA did not provide details, one 3-point line near the top of the key appeared to be about 6 inches closer to the basket than at the opposite end of the floor. The NCAA 3-point line is at 22 feet, 1 3/4 inches for both women and men.

I bet the janitor had a prop bet on made threes for this game so painted the lines accordingly. 😎

Illustrates the close attention that is given to women's basketball. 😉
Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems quite easy to see that the 3-point line on the right side of the pic is longer than the other.
That's hilarious. It's completely obvious.
Don't forget today is April 1st
You would think this must an April Fools joke for sure... But... I guess it's a Joke Double-Cross cause this happened.
Perhaps more shocking that someone accidentally tuned in and noticed! Sorry -- Joking.
Since the sides flip ends at halftime wouldn't it all equal out? Each side having a shot at the shorter distance.
Reminds me of when Larry Bird was practicing his shots before a game. He said the rim was not right. They measured. Sure enough 10' 1"

Its a legit story. It came out yesterday and like mentioned the teams were informed before the game and they both agreed to play. The entire round the 3 point make percentage had a big discrepancy from which side of the court it was being shot from
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
Yes, which is why the coaches - who were tons ahead of time of the issue - agreed to go on with the game.
