Just curious, who is on your Mt. Rushmore of defensive athletes all-time, they don't have to come from different sports because I know everyone here doesn't follow every sport.

When ever I hear 4 on defense; I think well… the Rams Fearsome Foursome…

Though too…the Purple People Eaters were a bunch of bad dudes as well…

Then if you guys watch a lot of NFL films and seen the interview with Terry Bradshaw describing the Pittsburgh Steelers…Terry says: DEFENSE

I thought about Ray Nitschke & Bill George, though I do not own any Nitschke to post up, and 2Ble D typed 4 for Rushmore….so no Bill George today…

    here’s the 4…

That is high praise for Karko. He is usually just a member of an all time all-ugly team.

Not much to look at, and possibly the worst hitting catcher ever with a 10+ year career, but he was a stud behind the plate.

I've mentioned this before and now is a good time to repeat it. One good way to identify great fielders without looking at any fielding stats is to find players with long careers who couldn't hit worth a damn. It's not perfect, but it's a good starting point.
