A Pair of Bad "PCGS" 1893-CC Morgans...

Today's bad coin and holder is another 1893-CC Morgan Dollar in a bad slab.
The 1st one (image on the left) is the latest example; seller ended the auction.
The 2nd one dates back to January and that listing (Canadian site) was removed.
Matching marks of the common fake on the reverse; the new one has an "unfilled O" which is common for many of the latest fakes.
Cert has no image and is still active; front bar code on the left example does not scan, both reverse QR codes scan but add "CN" to the number .

The one on the left is obvious, but the one on the right is good enough to fool many.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
The dates just look so wrong especially the digit 3.
Actually found another...
And the posted one on the right...
not looking at the coin on the right, its label is wrong
I obsess over the VAM, so being an amateur sleuth has probably saved me more times than not...
The date might have saved me, but I would have blindly assumed the holder was right.

Their weakly struck look a giveaway.
