Need to report a private message bug

I typed out a long private message and hit send. The message never sent and instead got an error (can’t remember what it said). As a result my message was erased and now can’t be recovered. I am angry this happened because I spent a long time writing it. I thought messages here tried to save drafts but I guess not. Not happy.

Anyone else have trouble sending private messages today?

Jesus saves,,,,,,,,,, but the rest of us copy our messages before sending. Then you can repaste it in the message body if it does't go thru as planned.

I've been "timed out" before too... if its going to be a really long message I usually do all my edits in a word file then copy/paste into the message box...

I have posts that 'time out' and the problem is my internet provider. It is not consistent and the download/upload speeds cycle from fast enough to slow crawl/nothing

Have had that happen a couple of times, began copying, and if occurs, then pasting, or as said write it elsewhere and copy/paste.

This is my first time having this issue where the message did not save as a draft. I have always had a saved draft before and I could go to Drafts and find it (usually with just a sentence or two missing at the end).

Guess I will have to remember to cut and paste from now on in case it happens again.

lately I also find refresh rates very slow, it seems the site is defective, other sites load fine, and this is on separate computers, and is not the internet provider.

Sometimes If the post I'm planning takes a lot of information or lets say typing, I'll type it in my documents window to guard against any "what if" factor that could take place.
When completed, copy and paste or send the file itself.
Come to think of it, I don't have any, yet. LOL

i believe the error is someting about "approval"

getting approval wouldn't be an error except by error no one examines them for approval.

treat them as digital dust.

i'll also add this problem happens when editing a post. copy the whole post before re-submitting it. if it errors out, the whole post disappears. you'll have to start again with an enitirely new reply
