I bought a 1907 $20 from FJ Vollmer's 25 or so years ago that had a significant scratch, graded MS63 at PCGS. However the eye appeal was off the charts, it would be hard to capture the luster in an image. Remember, with PCGS and NGC graders and finalizers look at the coin and then another look in quality control so very few real mistakes.
