Renewed numismatic interest
A year ago, I told my family that I was going to sell some of my collection. I mentioned what I was considering selling, but I only heard crickets chirping about it.
A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that I had sold my Buffalo Nickel set to my oldest son when he presented me with a couple of nice common date Buffalo's he picked up at a sale. He expressed some sadness about the sets' departure (he must have gotten his timing from his Mom!). Sooo without any big announcement, I've begun working on another set. It won't be in quite the higher grade the other set was but I have decided a nice VG Buffalo isn't all that bad in an album and will add higher grade coins, but it will be a better matched set than the one I sold. My numismatic interest was waning and now I'm cooking with fame again!
