I don't know much about Lincolns; can you explain how you know it's fake? Is that also a fake NGC slab? thanks

  • I looked it up on NGC verify and it could not verify... So I say it is fake...

Looks like a modern Chinese counterfeit.
The method the counterfeiter darkens copper is a 'tell'.
The slab is also a fake, of course.

    A bit of an edit:
Upon closer inspection, it is possible the white core and insert are genuine. For sure the plastic slab around it isn't.
That is best case. It well could be the white core/insert is also not genuine, but for sure that plastic shell is one that
    NGC has never used.

Would like to see a close-up look at the edges of that slab.

To late: 15 minutes to go in the bidding. 🤣

Someone must think it's real, not me but someone! 😂

Brown label inserts did not come with edge of the coin holder design, that was after brown label. Easy giveaway as fake
