Anyone ever experience a seller who refuses to take messages?

I am looking for a particular box of cards (or a nice box bottom) that has a particular player on the bottom of the box.
Found a seller with multiple boxes available (pictures don't show all his boxes) and tried to message him asking about the card I am looking for.
Got a message from ebay stating that the seller didn't respond to messages.
I have been experiencing some "bait and switch" issues lately and am trying to ask before buying.
Seems stupid to refuse to answer questions about your product to me.

Probably not a great sign if they don't respond in some manner.
Doesn't seem like a good way to do business.

How many listings do they have? If it is like thousands, they probably used to get so many messages and could never get back to everyone. So rather than appear to be a flake for not answering messages, they refuse them. Anyone ever get a message responded to from Greg Morris Cards with 30k items listed.
I just want to know what the boxes are
LOL. Nothing exciting.
1990 Topps hockey with a Modano card on the bottom. I collect Modano and the box bottom card is hard to find.
This seller has around 40 items listed.
Minnesota North Stars Modano I hope! Maybe the seller is from Minnesota. Try asking your question in a passive-aggressive tone. That’s how we converse. Haha.
Joking of course.
Another member here graciously offered to message the guy, thinking I might be on his blocked bidder list (WHAT ME?).
The seller does not answer questions.
Not much of a salesman, maybe he is a very busy person.
Can eBay do a wellness check?

I don't think Probstein answers questions.
