That is a super cool gesture. I have found that a majority of the members here are very generous.
Several years ago, I put a message on the card forum asking if anyone had any baseball cards, commons only, that I could use for an activity in my math classroom. I wound up with over 500 cards being sent.
And just a couple of years ago, I posted on the currency forum asking about sources of world notes for a display I was putting together for my classroom and a member here, icsoccer, sent me a whole packet of them.
Good folks all around for the most part.
I've thought of doing this a couple of times yet always wondered how you get the other member's address without tipping them off?
