bring a significant premium with a gold CAC sticker?
Just curious.

Beware, PCGS has major problems grading Blue Ikes. Got a picture?
I trust PCGS in getting it right.
So do I, frankly. There sure are a lot of them though.
This 1974-S Eisenhower dollar in an old-style PCGS MS-66 holder with a gold CAC sticker sold for $286 at a May 25, 2014, GreatCollections.com auction:

Blue ikes toned blue if left in the brown boxes they came in.
I don't see many brown boxed ikes around anymore. At shows or B&M's
Why would PCGS have a problem with them. They don't have a problem with other album toned coins.
Like canadian dollars that came in individual cases, but some cooked them so the sulfur in the cases gave them
a multi colorful tone. Readly sold . Maybe some cooked the Browns the same way who knows. The Browns I have all toned blue naturally over the last 40 yeas+.that they were put away in the brown boxes.
A few years ago I saw a set of blue Ikes pretty cool!
Many brown Ikes ended up with a nasty haze. I have a number of clean silver proof Ikes that look like the day they were minted and still in their original package. Finding nice high quality MS examples of clad coins is another story.

All common coins with a gold CAC sticker bring a large premium. Ikes with stickers are less common and I don’t recall seeing many with the gold. So I’d expect a large premium for one if it showed up for sale.
