    26$ for a 50 dollar card is high? What are you smoking?

    50% off is a good deal, but I would never buy game used again so it's a bad deal if you ask me.

    Unless it's a VERY high demand item, I would never pay close to 50% on ebay...that's high. At a show I wouldn't go over $18 for that card.

    I once got a baron daivs jersey card that booked 60 for 6 dollars. it was a patch card (2 colors) and it was #/75. You can even check my eBay feedback (aman0027@aol.com) so im not lying. That card isnt in high demand so thats tooo much!

    I have two possible theorys: (1) the buyers an idiot, which is always a possibility on ebay, or (2) it's a shill bidder and the seller overestimated how much people would pay.

    If a card is not in high demand (ex. Tom Brady or Shaun Alexander rookies) I would never even consider cracking 50%...or 40% for that matter. I paid $30 for $120 in football GU's today, including Elway and Manning.

    shaq is just coming off a 3peat and 3 finals mvp. Don't compare him to elways and manning.

    I think it could also be that the seller told some of his friends to bid on it so the auction would end higher. And another thing- Shaq's cards have never really been extremely hot, even after a 3-peat his cards arent going up that much (except for some of his RCs). Or of course it could jsut be dumb buyer. With 26 dollars, i could buy more cards that book higher.

    Anyone who has collected cards knows that Shaq could win 15 straight titles and his cards would never be that hot. Over 50% on a non-rookie jersey is unthinkable for any player.

    Especially when each sub sequencial year all the card companies combined make 4-10 new jersey cards for each star player. 5 years from now Shaq will have 30+ different game used jersey cards, what will they all be worth then?? My guess is much less then what they are worth now.
    Looking for former University of Arizona NBA RC's in PSA or BGS 9's/GEM MINT grades. Die hard University of Arizona and Bay Area Sports fan.

    He's paid $26 and $36 for two other Shaq Jerseys, dunno what they book though.

    personally I could careless what a shaq jersey books for, but I rather buy 3 pizzas from chuck e cheese and shoot some hoops for tickets.... for 26 bucks.
