I know its eBay, but here is a fake double eagle in a fake PCGS holder to take down.

Here is a fake double eagle in a fake slab. Not even a good fake. As an added bonus you get the fancy CC mintmark for no extra cost. The slab cert come back as an 1876 not an 1875. I sent in a report on the item, I'm sure you guys can have it down in no time. Currently it is the only item this guy is selling and he has no recent selling history.

    Very crude. Also, that's a type 3 obverse and the 1875 was made during the type 2 period.

    The seller removed it himself due to “an error in the listing”
    Will see if he relists it or not.

    Type 3 reverse yet the 1875 date is from Period 2. :D
