1946-S DDO-001 in HiRes
A member on another forum found 6 of these in an OBW roll and I snagged one. I have searched many 46-S BU and OBW rolls but never found much, and these rolls are expensive, so I am giving up on buying them. Bad resale value as well. For some reason they are very unpopular. Maybe some YT influencer has been badmouthing them? A few other dates as well, like 52-S. Anyway, I was glad to get this one. I shot the obverse in HiRes (9500x9500) and it came out OK. The die scratches are not showing up as well as I'd like though, so I may shoot it again with slightly lower lighting. I usually push the lights way up but this coin did not respond as well as I had hoped. The scratches are there but they aren't showing good shadow detail. Anyway, here's the photo, enjoy...
