Scanning in old documents and shredding them.
Came across this one today - even in 2012, I was surprised to see it offered!
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." Nice!
The same here, I printed almost all my EBAY winnings, 95% of my collection was bought 2004 - 2010, and looking back, wish I bought more. ANACs soapbars and Rattlers were so common, and common date PCGS/NGC Morgan 63's were about $35, 64's were $50, and 65's were $125. ANACs 63's were < $30. The good old days.
I know that if we end up going back to 2012 prices the monetary "value" of my collection will be diminished greatly. But then I might actually be able to afford some coins that have thus far been out of reach.
Found the picture from the ebay listing!
And I was expecting to see Archie & Edith Bunker singing at the piano... what a disappointment...
Boy the way Glenn Miller played...
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Nice. I like to keep old receipts and review them years later. Reminds me of this ngc 2.1 holder I got several years ago.
Way cool, they didn't nail you with state taxes either
Very cool. Reminds me of when I look at my Microsoft stock purchases in 2010 at $22 a share. Always fun looking back.
