Proof Jefferson Rotation

So I was looking at some of my older proof jeffs and started noticing a few that had some off rotation. Mostly for the 1960's and did find a 1973 that had a little. Was this pretty common? This 1962 is probably the worst one. Not much rotation but enough to notice.

Ya, I know the slab placement is a litte off Fred. But it is still a little out of rotation. I have a couple others just a little off. I know the rotation is not enough for any type off added value, I just figured proofs would have been better aligned. Guess I never really paid that much attention to them.

Even as a proof, it would have to be rotated at least 45° to have any interest to Collectors, I’ve found.
Your coin might be rotated 20–25°
Interesting, but no error collector premium, imo

Bobby, I know nothing about proof rotations, but I have handled hundreds of proof jeffs 1950-1964 and have never noticed one.
I collected half cents just for their rotations which were easily found as were the large cents I have had.
I probably have 30 or so extras now along with a capital plastics holder with 1950-1964 Jefferson Proofs and looked thru them and fou d none with rotations. Have no doubt about little xtra value as haven't seen any for sale, but I still think yours is nice to have.
Just for fun I looked at 15 or so for sale on ebad and all were barely 5-10 degrees. These also varied in price from $25 to $199 🤣
Nice looking jeff proof regardless.

@jesbbroken Ya I thought they were pretty cool! I have a couple others with slight rotation. They are maybe just 10%. The one I posted I figured to be about 15-20%. They aren't any extra value to me and they sit in my ngc registry. Just a kind of cool factor. Lol
