Same OBP- SLG - OPS percentage for both players.
Player A is 333 for 999 going 1 for 3 in every game over 2 seasons.
Player B is 300 for 1000, but was 0 for 500 against the weak teams but was 300 for 500 against the better teams and during the postseason.
Player A was 1/3 or .333 in the postseason.
Player B was 3/5 or .600 in the postseason and against the great teams but was horrible against the poor teams. He was ALCS and WS MVP.
Which player was better, or more important to their team ?
Yes, I realize this would never happen, but go ahead anyway.

I'll take player B if it means I win a World Series
I give players that perform at a higher level in the postseason extra credit compared to ones that dont.
I take player B. If he is horrible against terrible teams, I would hope that the rest of my team could be enough to win enough of those games to get me into the playoff.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
If you don’t like the way the scenario is worded, then have player B go 100 for 500 against the weak teams (.200) and 200 for 500 against the strongest teams and post season. (.400).
A more realistic possible scenario.
I think I liked it better when all you talked about was Bobby Orr.
Why all the user name changes anyway?
Gordie Howe won more titles than Orr, so by your criteria Howe was better.
Howe was better. Bobby the second best of all time.
Sorry Wayne.
Orr is the 2nd greatest ever after Wayne.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!
