After seeing such strong prices last night (some @ multiples of HA estimates), I think the phrase ‘not worth a Continental’ is now a thing of the past.

I ended up watching a lot of the action (Continental Currency and individual colonies) while waiting to bid on a few Virginia notes for my little collection. HA estimates got blown away on the majority of the sale.

The Virginia offerings were the last to be sold, and by then I knew it wasn’t going to be a night for bargains. I bought a few better condition VA notes that were not likely to come up again anytime soon, but let me just say - Ouch!

This ‘discussion’ (me talking to myself) is the longest running comment-less item in the Currency forum since someone else’s boring post went up in May of 2023. I’m trying not to take it too hard.
