May 1974 Dennis the Menace comic book with coin related story; Dennis gets dollar for Indian penny!

You know, adjusted for inflation Mr Wilson paid Dennis ~$6.25 for that Indian penny...but the thing is Mr Wilson didn't seem to check closely what year it was and less than a year ago I was able to get a nice "starter set" of Indian pennies from my local coin dealer's "grab jar" for ~60 cents each (I think)! I mean was there a "key date" Indian penny back then that in circulated condition (Mrs Wilson offered Dennis a penny think it was just like any other) went for that much? And shame on Dennis' best (human) friend in the whoooooooole world for trying to cheat him!!

And here at 21:00 into this episode we have Mr Wilson offering Dennis $35 (~$350 in today's money; practically a fortune to a kid in 1961!!) for a 1864 Confederate $50 bill when he knows it's worth at least 10x that much...and boy is Jefferson Davis on that bill NOT having that at all!!

One of my earliest coin memories is from the 1992/93 Dennis The Mennis movie where Christopher Lloyd's homeless thief character steals Mr. Wilson's coins from his hidden bookshelf safe and Dennis gets them back for him.
