$10 Indian gold

I have never seen so many beautiful $10 Indian gold as those being listed on Legend's website.

If I were Naples, I probably would keep a few, especially the 1913-S.

Speaking of the 13-S, what's going on with the lamination-looking line that crosses the 1 in 1913?

Good question. I see the same on 4-5 more of them on Coinfacts.

Per the 2011 HA notes for this coin:

The finely granular surfaces are sharply struck, typical for the issue, and display an overlay of soft mint frost. The only "mark" of note is a Mint-produced curved partial rim just to the left of the date, a feature that also shows on many examples of the 1911-S. Deep orange-gold color prevails throughout both sides.(Registry values: N7079)
