    Looks like those Ex Kings Norton Mint Collection coins, with the lines.

    Yes, it very much looks "specimen" in appearance and quite different in surfaces than the other MS 67 that looks more currency. However, they chose to designate this coin as ordinary currency.
    BTW, hope all is well in your corner and you are making progress on your literary project.
