I know that there's a dealer site that has a great discussion page on taxes & IRAs regarding precious metals. Does anyone recall which dealer site has that? Thanks!

    Thanks, Blitzdude. That's a pretty good site, but I think it was a different site.

    I'm just trying to research whether an energy tax credit can be applied to a capital gain on collectibles for next year, and whether any portion of the credit can be carried forward for any length of time to offset the tax liability of capital gains on collectibles for future years.

    I think that the company was located in Michigan, but I could be wrong. I've seen their workup a couple of times, and I liked their info.
