I thought this was a tough one and the chops certainly don't make it any easier.

I grade it xf45 chop, although it looks to have AU levels of wear and surface preservation, the detail loss from the reciprocal damage counts too.

Like Crypto said. It's an AU coin with lots of damage from the chops. I like it as a 45 but could also see it as a 50. Cool coin.
Exactly what Crypto said. And TennesseeDave. Probably 50 in terms of wear, likely would be knocked down for impact of chops on the coin.

Everyone is on the same page so no need to drag it out. I was also at 50 before sending it in. Seemed pretty cut and dry.
Came back 55! No complaints but it's a surprise.

I have no problem with that grade due to the nice luster apparent in the pictures.
