Royal Mint: St George and the Dragon 2024 UK 2oz Silver Proof Coin

The UK Royal Mint has just released the St George and the Dragon 2024 UK 2oz Silver Proof Coin.
The 2 ounce proof version has a mintage of 2950.
I ordered one, I think the raised edge inscription is unique, I like the design, but it's very expensive.......

    That Pistrucci guy knew what he was doing. :)

    In researching one of my past books, the Royal Mint Museum staff graciously allowed me to visit their back rooms. In a corner, they have Pistrucci's work bench. I found myself looking at it for a while.

    Beautiful coin. Missed out on it, but like it more than most coming out of the RM this year.
