Why so long weighting the Franklins

I was told the Franklin Registry was to be weighted two weeks ago, then told again it would be weighted this week. I asked if there was a problem and was told no, but there would be a post if there was one.
I don't understand why such a traditional set as the Franklin half would be one of the last sets weighted. They have even done the new Quarters. It sure appears to me that PCGS is first doing the coins that bring in the most revenue, Morgans, Sac. Dollars, State Quarters the coins that bring in the most submissions. I don't really know if there is anything wrong with that if that be the case, but as a Franklin collector I am a little upset with the order the sets were weighted.
I see no pattern in the way this is done, first I thought they were doing dollars then the then they jumped to the new Quarters. I guess I am just a little impatient, sure would like to hear some explaination.

  • I don't know, but it did take them longer to do the awards than they expected. Also it looks like we were able to get them to change the Jefferson weights so that might take extra time. Don't worry, they will be weighed I'm sure.

It was supposed to be done the week of 07/05, after some weighting comments were addressed. Now, the answer I got last week was "hopefully soon", whatever that means.
