Anyone here collect Turkish Republic gold coins? Anyone get them certified or have any tips on building a small set or box of 20? I also hear the Turkish mint actually makes more gold coins than the US Mint or RCM.

I have a few from the 1940s, none certified. I'm still looking for them. Also, I have been looking for a recent catalog of Turkish coins.

Last time I was there every coin displayed in a gold shop window was cleaned. Be careful.
Yes I hear some even "test" the gold with their teeth!
