Pretty dang cool coin and pretty dang strange that you chose a video from The Clash and I was at that concert!
It rained like Hell that day and they opened for The Who at Shea Stadium. George Thorogood and the Destroyers also did an opening act, as well. The concert ended late and we were soaked. I think it was October, 1982. Beyond that, the brain cells are dead.

I, too, saw The Clash when they opened up for the Who, but in Detroit. The Clash and The Who were an interesting pairing at the time of two very different musical genres and fan cultures. All night I was expecting a giant fight to break out between fans each band. Eddie Money was the opening act. (I don't believe there were any Eddie Money fans in the building.) That said, he wasn't that bad. But compared to the two legendary acts that followed him...
