Buffalo Nickel with Buffalo offset

I recently bought a lot of buffalo nickels at auction and going through them found an odd one. It's a 1915 with the buffalo mispositioned. Normally the buffalo's butt lines up to the chief's nose, The coin the Chief's nose line up is off by a few degrees. Has any one ever seen this oddity or is this a new mint error. I did a little online research and don't find any mention of such an error.

You would need to post photos.

It sounds like it might be a rotated die. If you search under that term you will find lots of information.

It could be a slightly rotated die but it would have to be off by at least 90 degrees to bring a premium
We will need pictures taken in front of a mirror so we can see both sides at once in order to help you.

More than likely, it's caused by a rotated die.

Yep, if anything it's a rotated die. No added value.
