I’m planning on filling some album holes tomorrow at Long Beach 🌞

Been slowly working on these ones over the last 2 decades, I’m thinking on going all out and try and fill them up tomorrow at Long Beach. I made this collage image to use as an inventory list so I remember which ones I need. Might as well even fill in the Franklins in with the late date Walkers even though already have them in the next album. Should be fun going after these raw ones instead of going after Registry set coins for a change 🌞

I just stopped for lunch, made it half way through the bourse. Here’s my collage picture, the ones with a black smudge are the ones I found so far today 🌞

Stopped in this morning and noticed the USMint exhibit was selling the Lions Club commemorative dollar. Super odd. Will be there Friday for a thorough run through.
Mission accomplished 🌝
I did end up buying 2 slabbed gold coins too for my circulated type sets and also a HK-220 So Called dollar too though. But it was fun to find the coins I needed for my albums, can’t wait to get home and fill those holes 🌞

It oh, I just noticed I didn’t mark off the 1953 P Franklin. Now I got to go through my coins to see if I purchased that one or not. I thought I found them all, but maybe I missed one 🤔

I went through my purchases, I did get the 1953P, but I accidentally marked off the 1953S slot, so now I’m still missing the 1953S. And somehow I ended up with 2 1947P walkers. So, messed up a little bit but made great progress. I was still deciding whether to go back in to the show either tomorrow or Saturday (I took off work today tomorrow, but have a doctors appointment tomorrow), but since I still need the 53S I’m more likely going to stop by the show again (I live nearby) 🙃

@Mr_Spud - you are a guy that I would love to follow around at a show and take notes. You have a great eye, and I really enjoy your approach to pretty much everything in the hobby.
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
Pro tip, eye drops in the morning, make sure your loupe is clean. Good luck and have fun. Peace Roy

This scenario was all a subconscious ploy to get you to go back to the show.
Nice to see albums filled once in awhile instead of plastic. Ah, the old days.
A very successful trip it looks like @Mr_Spud!
