PCGS - Slow Going

They received in my coins to have the attribution applied to the label and a new holder with photos. In the past they have turned this around in 2-3 weeks. Did they lose a bunch of photo guys when the head guy went over to GC? Something is dragging down their service.

Express is 15 business days? 3 weeks? My lord.

As I understand it, Phil had a replacement almost fully trained, who left right before he did. So it seems they lost two of their top-tier photographers back to back, yes.

Phil went to GC?
The photographer is waiting for that perfect shot . The light has to be just right.

Thanks, I missed that one...
My order has shown "received" for four weeks!
Very slow right now.
But they zoomed through my two submissions last Fall so I'll give them a big pass and patiently wait till they get shipped.

PCGS is fastest from June-October, it slows down in November-February.
The substantial truth doctrine is an important defense in defamation law that allows individuals to avoid liability if the gist of their statement was true.
I think 15/40/45 doesn't ever change. It stays in "received" until they are almost ready to grade, so instead of staying in "grading" forever, "received" is now the default status.
I have a world economy advertised at 60 days, went into grading status earlier this week with a 1/18 received date; we'll see.
