Coin search on eBay plus

johnny010johnny010 Posts: 1,591 ✭✭✭✭✭

Does anyone know how to search for plus coins on eBay that are listed where the seller did not type out the word plus?

From my cell phone eBay removes the plus when I hit search.

    Might could try:
    https://www.google.com/advanced_search

    Specify only ebay in SERPs.

  • This is a great question, especially since 'plus' graded coins can be hard to price. I'll be watching to see if anyone has any solutions.

On eBay, most sellers don't use the word "plus", so you just have to scroll and look.

If you're looking for sales records, you can use PCGS (either through CoinFacts or Auction Prices Realized) or GreatCollections.

If you're looking for active eBay listings, the best solution that comes to mind is to perform a google search using the following terms:

    site:ebay.com/itm/* [coin] "[plus grade]"

    For example, searching

    site:ebay.com/itm/* 1879-S Morgan "ms64+"

    brings up some listing.

It may be better to have each term inside quotation marks, such as

    site:ebay.com/itm/* "1879-S" "Morgan" "ms64+"

Again, this is through Google Search. I don't know of a way to do it natively using the eBay search.
