Shout Out for Strike Doubling: Let’s give it more love ❤️

I really wish PCGS would label coins with cool strike doubling ‘machine doubled’ (or whatever the term is).
I get it, strike doubles aren’t rare,
But sometimes we find one that’s really cool, and since the label on the coin is supposed to, well, label it,
I wish strikes would get put on the label too 🥰

Here’s some machine-doubled drama:
MD is just sloppy workmanship or miscalibrated machinery.
It is obvious what it is and doesn't need a label.
While I gave you an agree, it is clear from every coin forum or coin facebook group that I have looked at that there are millions of people for whom MD is anything but obvious.
Having said that, I think that any TPG that would entertain the idea of noting MD on the label would become the laughing stock of TPG's.

Yes, of course you are correct. I guess it's better to say "it should be obvious", atleast to the informed. My other concern is that if they started putting it on labels then less scrupulous or uneducated people would sell/buy it as an error.

I've seen doubled profiles labeled on TPG holders for Capped Bust half dollars. Dramatic ones are neat, that quarter is actually pretty cool @Fraz.

That coin in the right hands could have $25,000 next to it for ten years in an unclicked eBay offer.
Philadelphia sure does stamp and print a lot of error coins; keep one eye on your change and the other on YouTube.
Forget the TPG part and do the shout out part.
Some people buy coins for the sheer love of the design of the coin, including any errors or anything that varies from ‘the norm’ of the coin design,
which includes Strike Doubling.
I understand it’s not ‘valuable’, but we can all agree that strike doubling is of interest to some coin collectors,
because sometimes strike doubling looks pretty cool.
That’s why I believe it should be labeled —> strike doubling is different, and while it is ‘common’, strike doubling isnt on every coin and therefore it makes it work noting on a label (perhaps on request).
According to @FredWeinberg this one is a "an above average" example of ejection doubling

EXACTLY!! And I LOVE IT!
This is worthy of a note on the label for sure 😍
How about "post-strike damage" on the label?

I think s.d. used to be pretty common, although still interesting IMO:
