Advice on what to do with this Erving rookie card

I bought this card from a friend's son a couple years ago. It's time to get it graded and it's been quite a few years since I've submitted cards to PSA. The process and prices have changed since I last used PSA, so I would appreciate your input on grading this card.

If I understand the new pricing, I can submit using Regular or Value Plus services without joining the Collector's Club?

Without knowing how it will grade, should I submit at Regular ($75) with value at $1499 or less or at Value ($40) at $499 or less?

If it grades high, what would be the charge for PSA to ship the card back to me?

Or should I send it to SGC ($15), see how they grade it to make sure I'm not overlooking a flaw, and then submit to PSA for grading?

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Looks like an OPC cut! If you care about $35, then just send it for $40 and they will hit you up for more money if it is a PSA 8... No reason to send it to SGC for "pre-grading" since you have to pay shipping back. Even if it was a PSA 1, you'd still be paying $40 to grade it!
