If there is already a thread about this, point me to it. Today in the mail, I received a revised package for the 2023 Silver Proof Set from the Mint in a bubble mailer. Other than the change in Bessie Coleman's photo, I can't see why this was sent. Anyone else get this, too? In the photo the upper is the original packaging, the lower one is the one I got in the mail today.

Pretty cool! I would keep it with the original set. Might be worth a couple more dollars to have both to proof set collectors.

someone apparently thinks it's worth lots more, because they are selling both versions on eBay for $350.
Good catch! My mom would say you have Eagle Eyes!!!!!!
In June I purchased a 2023 Proof set and 10 or 14 days ago received replacement packaging for it from the Mint, it also came in a bubble mailer along with a letter. I’ve yet to compare the original and the replacement.
Edited to add photo
On the contrary, Google is not your friend.
picture is much better
Based on the photograph and description, the question is did the mint have authority to use the first photograph? It may not and therefore had to issue a new package with a photograph they had the authority to use.

I ordered two of the silver sets to use for Christmas presents, got them late last year. This is the first I've heard of the revised package.

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't an optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.
My mind reader refuses to charge me....
I agree with @hfjacinto -- Reading the text below the pictures makes me think the mint did not secure the rights to use the first picture of Bessie Colman.
I'm surprised they got the rights to use Tina Turner's photo so soon.
Here's an update.

While slightly interesting, since pretty much everyone will have both version of the packaging I don't see that it will add any value whether you have the old, new, or both packaging. I have been wrong before though.
They should bring back flat packs!
I got the same three new packages and the letter. I'll hold onto all of it for when it's worth something 50 years from now.
